is located down Phattanakarn Soi 40, in Suan Luang district in Bangkok. Currently the school consists of two seperate buildings. The 'kindergarten building', which houses the swimming pool, and all the classes lower than K3. The K3 level learns at the 'prathom building'. This building also houses all the classes from Grade 1 and up The map on the right (click on it to enlarge) shows the location of both buildings at Panaya Phattanakarn school, created with the help of Google Earth. The kindergarten part of Panaya School has recently received a royal award. This part competed in the award in the 'large kindergarten school', which saw fierce competition from schools with over 1000 students. The fact that Panaya school is relatively small, didn't deter the comission, and awarded the school for its superiour quality.The reason only the kindergarten part has been awarded, is because the Prathom part could not be entered. There is no Grade 6 yet, which means that the school is not complete yet (as of 2008). More information about this (in Thai) on the kindergarten part's website.
The last thing I wish to mention in this section about Panaya School, is that in the recent National Test, seven students of the school performed particularly well; especially in English. From Top of the country, via top of the area (Thailand has four areas), to top of the province (Bangkok). The pictures below speak for themselves.
